“IPC” International Pharmaceutical Company (Pvt) Ltd as it was known , was a limited liability Company registered under registrar of Companies. Came in to being as an enterprise to manufacture bona fide western drugs in 1963. The company was started by the late Mr. J.S.A. Fernando alias Jerry Fernando and continued in that field until his death in 1980. With the Nationalizations of the Pharmaceutical Industry the Company diversified into trading which was built up over the years with many first class agencies. Besides foreign trading the Company now boasts of an Engineering division established principally to promote the local manufacture of small/ medium processing equipment in the Food, Drink, Agricultural and industrial fields. In 1992 IPC changed to Integrated Project Engineering Pvt Ltd (IPE) bringing all the trading engineering under one roof as an one stop shop for all engineering requirements with a work shop equipped to service and maintain all equipment purchased through us or otherwise..
